Source Documents
This set of links gets you the official copies of much of the legal material as well as other "official" information. The transcripts let you read more than just the sound-bite highlights. For techies, sometimes the details are important since the press often skips over the technical testimony and just reports the fireworks and mistakes. I, for one, like to know that the judge heard testimony that covered what I feel are facts about our industry. This lets see for yourself.

The Laws
The Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice has a set of guidelines (based on statutes) that they follow. These guidelines list many of the laws, including parts of the Sherman and Clayton Acts. It lists laws about what is conduct is illegal as well as laws involving how investigations are to be conducted and how consent decrees can be done: www.usdoj.gov/atr/foia/divisionmanual/two.htm
Commentary and analysis
Infoworld had a pretty thorough (for a newsweekly) reading of the findings of fact: Microsoft's judgment day: Analyzing the findings of fact.
